A passive tame, Sinomacrops not just allow Survivors to glide, just they wing upwards similar to the way a TEK chest piece does. Information technology as well has the ability to scare off a variety of smaller dinos such equally the e'er-annoying Pegomastax and Ichthyornis.

What you'll demand to tame the Sinomacrops

  • Chitin: Obtained from insects that you've killed and harvested, place this in the last slot of your hot bar

Sinomacrops are non difficult to find and there is a large amount of them beyond the jungle biome. They are easily distinguishable from Dimorphodons due to their fast flying speed rather and brighter colors. They are non necessarily pack animals, but it is possible to find them together in mating pairs.

Sinomacrops are non-ambitious dinos, insofar as yous do not wearable whatever sort of Chitin-based armor on your body. They are curious by nature, and if you finish almost them, they will give off pocket-size hearts to evidence their involvement in you, after a few seconds they will country most your Survivor and you'll be given the prompt to press "E" and feed them.

Once fed, they'll take off and fly abroad, which can be problematic to track in the densely forested areas of the jungle. To overcome this, be sure to apply the tame tracker available in your Survivor menu to follow these fast flyers as they move around. When they're ready to consume, they'll give off hearts and land almost y'all once again, don't get as well close before they're ready or they'll spook and wing off. Feed and repeat this blueprint until they're fully tamed.
